9th Hole

Moat

Stroke index 13.

A short par four that often only needs a small wood or long iron as accuracy is important off the tee. The well-hit tee shot requires only a short iron to the small reverse – Mackenzie green, trapped by the moat on two sides and the mound of the Ladies tenth tee on another.

The out of bounds at the back of the green sets the nerves on edge but a par is often achievable.

A good drive and a three wood second should leave you with just a short iron to a mounded green with deceptive borrows.

What players say about us

Best greens ever - I have played most of the Open venues and many other classic courses and I don't believe I have played on better greens than Prestatyn. The course is a classic links.

Best course on the coast - Fantastic greens. Excellent fairways and great value for money. Speak to the office he is always keen to help.

STEPHEN OPlayer

This course is a gem - Highlights are the interesting well protected par 3’s. Par 4’s / 5’s have well placed tees and fairway bunkers and present a challenge in the wind. The 18th is one of the best closing holes I’ve played.
